Dr. Kwasniak, an innovator in transportation engineering, has in-depth knowledge and experience in performing advanced transportation safety statistical analysis to evaluate roadway deficiencies including network screening methodologies described in the Highway Safety Manual (HSM). He is recognized at the international level for developing multiple location-specific Safety Performance Functions and state-of the-art cloud-based application to perform transportation safety engineering analysis (SPFTool.com). He is co-founder of the Drone Investigation data forensic analysis firm. Utilizing drone technology Dr. Kwasniak performs scans and 2D/3D models of vehicles, firetrucks, ATVs, passenger cars, tractor – trailers, bridges, roadways, roundabouts, farms/fields, buildings, construction sites and more. He assists attorneys, insurance companies, government organizations and private entities such as the U.S. Department of Justice, Arizona DOT, County of Los Angeles, Toyota Motor Corporation, Con-way and others, as an expert witness and/or consultant in cases involving traffic control signals operation, roadway geometric design, work zone safety, traffic operation and others.
Ms. Kerezman is a commercial vehicle operation and safety specialist and certified director of safety with over 40 years of professional experience in the trucking industry. She is a licensed CDL driver with 27 years of professional truck driving experience. She has held OHSA certifications to operate specific forklifts and intermodal yard tractors. She evaluates the safe operation of commercial vehicles and standards of care and accepted practices of commercial vehicle operators and motor carriers. Areas of expertise include: regulatory compliance, defensive driving, driver actions and responses, air brake systems, commercial vehicle inspection procedures, safety analysis of ECM (black-box) data and on-board computers, behaviors that lead to or increase the consequences of crashes, such as unsafe driving, fatigued driving, driver fitness, controlled substances and alcohol, vehicle maintenance, cargo securement and loading/unloading issues, crash-history involvement and the corporate safety culture. Ms. Kerezman conducts post- accident inspections and engages in recreating, testing and reenacting various maneuvers and procedures. Ms. Kerezman has investigated, consulted and testified on heavy vehicle accidents for over 18 years in both federal and state court. Ms. Kerezman was a commercial vehicle operation and safety specialist for Ruhl Forensic Inc. in Scottsdale, Arizona for 9 years and a manager in the vehicle engineering and testing practice for Exponent, Inc., Phoenix, Arizona, for almost 3 years prior to starting her own company in January of 2010.
